The last of the Croatia photos, finally! I'd been to Hvar before; it's ridiculously pretty and lovely so was more than happy to go back. But this time we got to explore more, I saw different parts of the island, did boat trips to some other islands nearby, and saw some ridiculously breath-taking lagoons. It was lush. This part of the holiday was all about seafood, swimming in the sea, relaxing and loads of fun. If you've never been to Croatia before, and get the opportunity to go, then take it. It's magical.
this was whitstable
You guys, have you been to Whitstable?! Well you should go. Claire was back from Syndey (yay!) at the beginning of July so we had a girly reunion long weekend by the seaside. And it was lush. We had scorching hot sunshine, and a bit of drizzle; a perfect English weekend. We hired a cottage and had so much fun, and we all wore flower crowns a lot of the time, because, why not eh?! Whitstable is full of adorable cottages, oysters, lovely pubs, pebbly beaches, vintage shops, fish & chips and general gorgeousness. It was much more trendy than I was expecting, but overall still had a pretty olden times harbour side vibe. And it's only about an hour from London. Go!

this was good friday
Pretty much every four-day Easter weekend I go down to the Jurassic Coast in Dorset for a little holiday with a load of family and friends, and I’m talking 70+ people! It has become a bit legendary and gets bigger and better each year. This year was the 25th anniversary, and so we celebrated at sunset at the top of a cliff, with speeches, champagne, fairy lights, bunting, sparklers, a bonfire, singing, fireworks and a whole lot of love. It might just have been one of the prettiest and most magical nights of my life!

I hope you all had lovely Easter weekends! I'm hoping to get back to more regular blogging soon, I have a few fun projects on at the mo which are eating up all my free time, but feel like I have so much to share on here so will be back soon!

VSCO grid
And I absolutely frickin’ love it. I am a huge massive fan of my iphone, mainly because of the camera, and then when VSCOcam came along I was like, whooooo! Those filters are SO gorgeous. And now the GRID! It’s beautiful, it makes me really happy, and one of my favourite ways to kill time these days is to look through other people’s lovely grids. Yep, really. I love the responsive design, I looove the white space, and I really love that your photos aren’t restricted in a square frame! It's a beautiful way of displaying your favourite snaps.
Let me know about your grid if you have one, so I can spend time looking through them too!
Some grids I'm loving at the moment - Nicole Franzen / Emily Goater / Monica Moraru / Kate Kipley / Emilie Ristevski.
clifton
This past weekend I headed out of London to Bristol for a weekend with my sisters. It was exactly what I needed and mostly involved loads of chilling out, catching up over good food and wine, a bit of shopping, a bit of crafting and a lovely sunny afternoon and a picnic in Clifton.
Ahhh, Clifton is such a gorgeous place. If I ever move out of London I could imagine heading here! This coming week is going to be pretty crazy, but will be ending with a long weekend in Budapest, yes, cannot wait! Wishing you all a lovely week ahead!

nice pins
Pinterest is my fave, it's always been my fave. But when I was studying I used it so much for design inspiration and research that it sort of just became a big collection of design homework and I had little time for pinning everything else. It's been nice since I graduated to just use it to pin, collect and share all things that I think are wonderful and beautiful. Here are some things which I've pinned recently that I thought I'd share with you all...
1 | Lovely hand painted type by The Weaver House.
2 | 'My Daughter Kanna' by Japanese photographer Toyokazu Nagano. I cannot get over how adorable and hilarious this girl is. I want one.
3 | Talking of Japan, Claire & Dave's photos of their holiday there have been making me want to go back so much, times a million.
4 | Love this photo by Monica Moraru.
5 | I may have seven zillion of them already, but this striped tee from Zara looks pretty perfect.
6 | Love this branding inspiration moodboard by Cassie of The Veda House.
Maybe I'll make this a regular feature? Obviously I'd have to start blogging a bit more often to make it regular, ha... but you never know! You can follow me on pinterest here.
cornwall
Last weekend Nick and I headed out of London, borrowed a car from home home and drove right down to West Cornwall. We went for a friends wedding on the Saturday, which was beautiful, but thought we'd make the most of it so booked to stay three nights. We stayed in an adorable fishing harbour village called Mousehole (pronounced Mauzel!) and managed to explore quite a bit of West Cornwall. It was a pretty perfect weekend away, and brilliant timing having just finished my course! I hadn't been that far down in Cornwall for years and years - it's ridiculously pretty, hard to believe that it's England at times! We explored Sennen Cove, Mousehole, Newlyn, St Levan, Treen and St Ives, had lots of pasties and seafood, and stayed in a lovely little B&B right on the harbour. I definitely recommend this little part of the world if you've not visited before! Photos taken on my Panasonic DSLR & my iPhone, edited with the vsco app.
right now | 3
two weeks today i will have graduated from my design course. it's a pretty terrifying prospect right now, but explains why things have been so quiet around here! over 200 unread posts in my bloglovin' haaa! however, it's also really exciting, and i cannot wait to get back to normality, catch up with all my friends and have loads of summer fun! so i'm currently just trying to stay motivated and get as much work as i possibly can done every single spare moment, but it's definitely not easy, especially in this heatwave. can't wait to be all done though and share my final portfolio with you guys! in other news, i finally got my vsco grid the other day, yeay! i have been a huge fan of vscocam for ages, pretty much all my instagrams are edited with it. but i love the style and design of the grid - so clean and simple and loads of white space, yes! you can check it out here, and i've put a link in my sidebar too. let me know if you have a vsco grid and i'll check it out!
