So i only recently discovered the weaver house. I know. Where have i beeeeeeen?! I don't know. Twin sisters with the most incredible portfolio of photography and design. There is SO MUCH inspiration to be found in their gorgeous website. Seriously beautiful stuff... if i can ever create anything nearly as beautiful as these I will be a pretty happy girl!
who knew christian lacroix did stationery? well, not me. but i do now, and i think it's pretty ace. i have a bit of a thing for stationery. i'm also pretty fond of tokyo, or japan in general really. and this tokyo card is awesome. the design, the colours, the gold. i might buy it just to stick it up on my wall. no one's getting this one in the post from me, nope, sorry.
card found at quill london.
there's something about a bit of black and white that i just love at the moment. it's all that gorgeous scandinavian design i keep seeing on pinterest getting to me. nick and i went to ikea last weekend and everything we bought was black, or white, or black and white. completely by accident. oops. i'd much rather add a bit of colour in my own home, but for some things black and white on it's own, well, it's just so hot right now. no? yeah! and it gave me an excuse to practice indesign making this little mood board, it was pretty simple really! the course is going good so far, and i can just tell i'm going to flippin' love it all, yeay! here's to the weekend, food, wine and homework time... hope you have a good one! x
I saw this illustration by ben goss on a card in a shop on saturday and it made me grin like a crazy. So i wanted to share it with you. Ok.
I am loving the new harvest collection from darling clementine - postcards, tea towels, prints & teacups! I've always loved their designs, but the colours and patterns in this harvest collection are super gorgeous and just my style at the moment. Love me a bit of scandinavian design right now!
Well, i've started my graphic design course. One week down and i'm loving it already. I can't wait to get properly stuck in. My dining table in my teeny flat is looking slightly more desk like now that it has an actual imac on it, eeeee! And I've washi taped some loveliness onto the wall next to it for a bit of colour and inspiration whilst I do my homework. It will probably take over the entire wall in a few months! I sort of accidentally made those little striped paintings last week when i was testing colours for actual paintings, but I kinda liked them so I cut them out and stuck them up.
Sorry about the crappo photo.
Oh hi! I'm Sally and I'm about to embark on a year long graphic design course. I'm excited, and nervous. But mostly excited. I've set up this blog as a place to collect inspiration and also to share some of my work. And also probably little snippets of my life here and there... we'll see! You can read a little more about me here.
