Things have been a bit hectic crazy lately, hence the radio silence over here! Sometimes managing a day job with freelance design work is really flippin' difficult and I'm trying to find a bit of a better way to balance everything out at the moment, and to stop my head from exploding. That being said, I've been working on some really exciting projects lately, which I've really been enjoying, and thought I'd share a few sneak peeks with you...

+ Some hand drawn typography that I did for a save the date design recently.
+ A mood board for a branding project I'm working on - can't wait to share this with you!
+ A fun floral pattern I put together, just for fun - i'm starting to realise patterns are my fave. 
+ And a small detail of an order of service, which I'm just wrapping up at the moment.

So I'm trying to remember this. It helps.

i recently discovered alyson fox, through the gorgeous collaboration she did with & other stories, which i LOVE. and i want to buy it all. it's mostly all gone online now, but trust me, it's all beautiful. as is all of her work - drawings, patterns, designs, jewellery and other collaborations... i feel like a bit of a wally because my big sister has had that print hanging in her flat for ages and i never bothered to find out who it was by! anyway, just a little bit of inspiration for your wednesday!

thanks all for your comments on my identity design! i'm giving myself the night off design work tonight, partly because i can barely keep my eyes open, partly because i want to catch up on wimbledon with a glass of wine. yes.

So I've recently discovered the gorgeous art work of australian artist kirra jamison, first on pinterest, and then over on sf girl by bay. I seriously love her work, the colours and compositions are so gorgeous, I'd love to hang one of these on my wall. something bright for this gloomy february monday! How cute is she?! Pretty sure i'd look completely ridiculous in a turqouise jumpsuit like that. you can see some of her awesome home here too!

I'm loving all the design work i've been doing lately, but this has got me craving getting my acrylics out!
