Right now I'm pretty flippin' excited. I'm all packed and tonight I'm jumping on a jet plane to Sydney. Yeeeee! I'm seriously looking forward to some sunshine, some beach time, and some serious chilling out. I'm also kinda looking forward to a bit of a blogging break, maybe even a tweeting break! But I'm mostly looking forward to exploring Sydney and the East Coast, and catching up and hanging out with these guys, and this gal too! I can't wait!

budapest | part two

Oops. Didn't mean to leave it this long before I shared some more Budapest photos! Sometimes life just gets crazy eh? But here are a few more snaps. Jeez, totally love all that gorgeous architecture.

+ The actually very blue Danube.
+ Driving around Margaret Island in a golf buggy. Yes, really. It was hilarious.

budapest | part one

I visited Budapest just over a week ago, I went with two girlfriends and it was so much fun, and so super gorgeous! I think that was partly due to that fact that the sky was completely clear for the three days we were there, and the trees were just turning all autumnal, but seriously, that is one very pretty city! 

I really recommend this city, three days wasn't quite enough I don't think, I LOVED it! There is so much to see, and my photos really don't do it justice. Some of my favourite things in Budapest... 

+ Mátyás Church and those beautiful tiles
+ Walking along the river, on the Pest side
+ Chilling out in the sunshine at Széchenyi Thermal Baths 
+ Looking out across the Danube to the Parliment Building from the National Gallery
+ Those gorgeous beautiful coloured buildings

VSCO grid

I realise this is a bit late in the day, and I've mentioned it a few times already, but I just wanted to share a bit of love for the fabulous VSCOgrid. I got mine quite a while ago, so it’s filling up nicely now... 

And I absolutely frickin’ love it. I am a huge massive fan of my iphone, mainly because of the camera, and then when VSCOcam came along I was like, whooooo! Those filters are SO gorgeous. And now the GRID! It’s beautiful, it makes me really happy, and one of my favourite ways to kill time these days is to look through other people’s lovely grids. Yep, really. I love the responsive design, I looove the white space, and I really love that your photos aren’t restricted in a square frame! It's a beautiful way of displaying your favourite snaps.

1 | So I only recently discovered the photography of Olivia Rae James. Oh. my. gosh. I love her work. And these cocktails look completely beautiful, and sound yum! 
2 | Mr + Mrs Globetrot's photos of the blue lagoon in Iceland are literally dreamy. I want to go there so sooo much now. 
3 | Alice Gao's apartment was featured in Rue recently, and I completely love it. It looks like a pretty perfect space to me. That dark wall, ahmayzing. 
4 | I'm not much of a baker, but this looks so delicious, I might just have to give it a go!  
5 | I've always loved Lucy Laucht's style (and I love feet snaps!) , but her instagrams lately have been completely swoon worthy. Her wardrobe. Yes please. 
6 | This design, I love.

clifton

This past weekend I headed out of London to Bristol for a weekend with my sisters. It was exactly what I needed and mostly involved loads of chilling out, catching up over good food and wine, a bit of shopping, a bit of crafting and a lovely sunny afternoon and a picnic in Clifton. 

Ahhh, Clifton is such a gorgeous place. If I ever move out of London I could imagine heading here! This coming week is going to be pretty crazy, but will be ending with a long weekend in Budapest, yes, cannot wait! Wishing you all a lovely week ahead!

The identity design coming out of Stitch Design Co. at the moment is just totally lovely gorgeous brilliant wonderful amazing...

I just spent an age browsing through their website and blog. So much gorgeous inspiration!

Now that I've finished my design course, inspiration like this makes me realise just how much I want to start working in design. Since graduating I've been so busy, but also have just been relishing any free evenings I get, they still feel like a total luxury! I need to find the time to start doing some design work again, I've been missing it!

Those peonies I bought from Columbia Road Flower Market the other week. Enjoying the last of the Summer sunshine. They weren't the best peonies in the world, but they were still super pretty.

Oh, hi Autumn! Erm, wasn't it 30 degrees in London last week?! Yes, yes it was. Boots and coats have come around a bit too soon for my liking. But there is a small part of me that's looking forward to cosying up at home with tea and candles and blankets! I definitely need a few new autumn wardrobe staples though. These things, yes please...

shoreditch

On Sunday last weekend I met up with my lovely friend Claire and went for a long overdue visit to Columbia Road Flower Market. It was super packed as always, but was nice to mooch around in the sun, catch up and pick out some pretty peonies. From there we walked over to Redchurch Street to check out all the street art and had a lovely long lunch at The Albion. I love London weekends.

I have very few plans this weekend. Looking forward to some serious relaxing and hopefully booking a holiday! Whoo! Hope you all have fab weekends.
